In business since 1961, Master Marine, Inc. has extensive experience in managing multiple and varied marine related projects for the oil and gas sector, inland transportation, passenger vessel, and commercial fishing industries.
This includes having constructed over 300 commercial vessels of all types including tug boats, pushboats & pipe barges, offshore and inland support vessels, passenger ferries, fishing trawlers and specialty water-craft, up to 670 tons & 200 ft. length. The company also has expertise in major conversion, repairs, repowering, overhauls & fabrication of large metal components for diverse applications. With a highly skilled work force, capable in steel, aluminum, as well as all facets of machinery installation & outfitting, and maximum proficiency in project management & production control, no job is too small or too large.
Facilities
Staging area located on the U.S. Gulf Coast, at mile 117 of the Gulf Intercoastal Water Way, Master Marine, Inc. operates shipbuilding & repair facilities on 7 acres, with water frontage totaling 1,200 ft. with water depth of 18 ft.
Assets include:
- 220-ton Marine Travel Lift slip for loading all types of equipment on barges
- Launching ways for up to 200 ft.
- 15,000 sq. ft. covered fabrication sheds
- Outfitting buildings, and
- 700 Ton floating drydock 152' x 46' inside wing walls
